The synopsis for ‘ Maquia: When The Promised Flower Blooms’ certainly has me intrigued and judging by it’s trailer is going to be yet another great addition to an already fantastic festival line-up. ![]() ![]() After Naoko Yamada’s ‘A Silent Voice’ resonated with audiences last year, Glasgow Film Festival are once again giving a platform to the work of more talented women in the anime industry as Mari Okada’s ‘Maquia: When The Promised Flower Blooms’ is receiving it’s international premiere at this years festival only a few weeks after it’s Japanese premiere.
